COVID-19 Update. The President lists directives as school opens.





The President, for the twelfth time, addresses the nation on COVID-updates. 
He focused much on the reopening of schools with some necessary directives to be followed and adhered to.

Below are the directives during the address

SHS 3 students will be in school for 6 weeks before sitting for WASSCE over a period of 2 weeks. Gold Track students will be in school for 6 before going on vacation.

All SHS in the country have been fumigated and disinfected.

Govt is making pickup vehicles available to senior high schools that did not receive any in 2016.

One dormitory block in every senior high school should be set aside as an isolation centre, in case a students falls sick.

Eating in dining halls will be in appropriate numbers.

No visiting to the schools will be allowed. 

There will be no mass gatherings and no sporting activities. 

One dormitory must be used as isolation centre in every school. 

Every school will be assigned to a nearby health facility.

11TH COVID19 - ADDRESS (GHANA)

    The President of the Republic of Ghana has once again addressed the nation on COVID-19 for the 11th time.      He has emphatically stated the current statistics situation of the pandemic in the nation.      The COVID-19 case count in Ghana now stands at 11,964 confirmed positive cases, 4,258 recoveries and 54 deaths.     Ghana is one of the highest COVID-19 testers on the African continent. He stated how important it is for residents of Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions, to continue to adhere strictly to the social distancing and enhanced hygiene protocols announced since they have the highest COVID-19 recorded cases.    He also stated in his address that all Ghanaians must remember that the wearing of face masks or face covering is now mandatory. Keneddy Agyapong 2nd expose on Nigel Geisie...
