Ghana confirms new 229 COVID-19 cases!

It's been few days when the president addressed the nation on the recent COVID-19 uprisings. It seems the numbers keep shooting up despite measures put in place to ease contacts.

With social gatherings eased and churches are back to operation, there is a high risk the numbers could still shoot up. Most churches closed despite the restriction been removed.

In this afternoon's address from the Health Ministry, there has been 229 new cases, taking the total confirmed cases to 12, 193, 58 deaths, 4,326 recoveries leaving the number of active cases to be 7,809.

The health minister is still recovering from contracting the COVID-19.

With the numbers still rising day in and out, there people who feel the cases are been massage and the actual figures are been kept. The Health Ministry has called of such utterances as ''false rumour''.

Just as the President declared in his last address to the nation, the security personnel are all over the country ensuring that all people that step out are in their nose or face masks. The response of the citizens wearing the nose or face masks is very high and really cooperating.
